Beatles with American soul

Tristan Marie

This American singer-songwriter was born in the sunny coal town of Trinidad, Colorado, where her family owned the local saloon as well as the local bail bonds business across the street. She grew up in Las Vegas, where, for more than a decade, she played fiddle and sang in one of Sin City's wildest Irish bar bands, while also recording with The Killers and other local musicians.

She has lived in Memphis, where she developed her guitar playing while accompanying the late bluesman Zeke Johnson and sang in a 60s rock and roll band made up of members of Memphis garage legends The Reigning Sound. She has recorded her own songs in Nashville and further studied Irish music throughout the pubs of Dublin while living there.

She is now based in Stockholm, where she accompanies local and international acts such as Rebecca Tilles, Jill Johnson, Ron Pope, EP's Trailer Park and Mimi Werner. She also performs her own authentic American folk rock and blues music on violin, guitar and vocals. At Pargas Beatles Fest she will perform alone and together with Rebecca Tilles.
