Eklund & Ojala

Rickard Eklund is an Ostrobothnian singer-songwriter who usually writes his own songs in the Närpes dialect. Together with musician Benny Ojala, the duo will perform their own interpretations of The Beatles' enormous song treasure.

With warmth, joy of playing and respect for the originals, the duo offers an evening filled with timeless melodies, harmonies and personal arrangements. From early pop classics to more experimental masterpieces, Eklund & Ojala take the audience on a musical journey through The Fab Four's legendary catalogue.

Expect both well-known favorites and a few less obvious gems, performed in a stripped-down and close format where the songs are at the center. A few Beatles songs in the Närpes dialect are also promised.
